Hi,

Just wanting to know if anyone has successfully replaced a Fiat Stilo gear knob?

All the gear knobs I have come across either don't fit lift reverse or if they do, universally, they still don't work on Fiat Stilo because of the larger plastic lift on Fiat Stilo.

I wanted to get a replacement for the one part rather than having to buy a whole gear stick for it.

Any links to possible purchases or alternate solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Oh yes, it's a lovely knob :D ..... You need to buy a lift up reverse compatable knob - I got a mono one which seems to fit the stilos lift up coler like a glove. As for removal of the old one, I ended up having to destroy the old one to get it of? As its bonded on a the spline of the gear stick? this didn't matter to me as the old knob was damaged anyway but if you want to retain your old one you'll need to make some sort of tool to pull it off the spline saftey :)

I'll try and upload a link below

Hi, I have currently tried 2 different, supposedly universal, lift-reverse gear knobs. Both of them would not fit the Fiat Stilo lift up piece.

My old one is pretty much destroyed and I have had a few unsuccessful attempts at replacing it.

Was looking for something around the £10-20 mark, just a bog standard replacement.

Do you have a link to any sites selling a Fiat Stilo compatible model, like the one pictured?
Or is it just any Momo gear knob that will work?

I was just really lucky I guess? The one I bought is one of about 4 momo knobs which are essentially the same body with a different top (I choose the momo duke) but I'm confident the others have the same body. The collar really does fit into the body really well when you lift it up so I guess that would be my recommendation. Their alittle pricey? I paid about £50 for mine but maybe eBay has some second hand ones? (no pun intended :D )
