hi

i am going to sell my car as i no longer use it as it should be uesd (n)
the only thing im concerned about is there are a couple of issues,
the passenger door strap is broken, i have a replacement but havent had a chance to fit it.
the passanger door also needs to be sprayed after some git keyed the door, i have the paint but yet again havent had the chance to sort it.
and there is an alarm fault which results in no siren and a warning light when the car is first started.

it is the fiat stilo 2.4 abarth selespeed, with full leather interior and the navi system and 69k miles, it is a sound car with only these faults.

i was just wondering if any one could offer advice on a price i could sell it at with these faults, and how much i cold ask for if they were fixed?

any info would be great

many thanks

depends on what people want to pay.... there are dreamers.. realists and people who want quick sales.

1k with problems would get it sold.
1.3-4 mabee
1.8 in hope someone thinks its a good deal :)

i see alot of stilos up for 2k but i never see many sell anymore?

yup, tricky car to sell. not a common car, especially the Abarth. Those who know cars, will probably opt for a Golf GTI or similar. I would fix the faults, then ask £2k. My thinking is, in this day and age, less andless people want a sporty car such as this. Fuel, insurance and tax are all expensive for this car, so you have to pit it against the equivalent Golf, Focus, Astra etc etc so its very tricky.

as an idea, I paid £1950 for my 1.9 Jtd Sporting. Its got everything, 90 odd k miles and afew niggles to fix which i did straight away. I thought for the money, the car was worth it. NOT a bargain, but worth it. You have to look at yours and decide if you give it a black mark with the faults, or fix them, or hope they are faults that dont bother a prospective buyer based on asking price.

best of luck, I really like the Abarth, you just got to big it up and show people how good these cars are.
