Crayzee Electronic Problem - Lighting circuit.

So,

recently the off side brake light bulb went. I replaced it promptly as I got the all too familiar 'beep beep beep' with a message telling me so. However, before I could change it I started getting the 3 beeps and a message telling me that the rear right indicator bulb had failed Every time I push the brake! (Strangely it tells me the right indicator is failed but the little arrow at the top of the message points to the left)

I checked the indicators and they are all working. I changed the brake light bulb and the problem did not go away.

I then got a failure notice for the number plate light which when checked revealed a corroded bulb holder. I changed this with a brand new Fiat part (thinking it could be causing a short in the circuit) and still I get the 'three beeps' every time I brake telling me about the rear right indicator (and pointing left).

The problem is now intermittent. I can go 20 miles without a problem and then have 10 'beep beep beep' notifications for the rear right indicator bulb in 2 miles every time I brake (and sometimes when I don't touch any controls)

The last thing which may be relevant is that sometimes (1 in 20 times) I have indicated left and it does 5 or 6 rapid flashes (as if an indicator bulb is gone on that side) and then returns to normal.

I have checked the connections to the light clusters which seem fine.

I commute 115 miles a day and this is driving me nuts, Please help me so I can return to only having the odd 'Stop engine - Air-bag Failure'. Which is another bloody story!

yeh a loose connection or bad earth. mine was doing similar over bumps. i took it off, contact cleanered the pins and put them back on. works fine now! i also sprayed the bulb connections just incase the bulb wasnt connecting propperly
