the software gives ya the same garage stuff,
depending on the cable ya bought ya may need the red, green and yellow adapter cables, for abs and airbag codes,
also available on ebay

That cable is enough to read and reset engine fault codes without needing any adaptors, switches or anything. Certainly worth 8 quid to check and clear fault codes - if you want to do more, spend more later on!

The cable TangerineTractor linked to(http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/170730269002) and the free version of FiatECUScan(http://www.fiatecuscan.net) will cost you less than £8 in total and will "Read & Clear" any engine fault codes. Simple, quick and cheap.

Hi folks. I need a code reader that will reset my engine management light. All the above links are obsolete now.

Could somebody supply me with a link for a decent code reader please?

Edit. Ok, I just bought this one.

I'm not particularly sure what the difference is between this one and the obd cables. Obviously the price is different. As long as I can reset my Engine management light, I'm too bothered. So I have to download Fiat Ecu scan on my laptop and I'm good to go?
