hi my car has just been in for its mot but it failed on ball joints:bang: the garage where i took it said they couldnt get just the ball joints it has to be the full arm:confused:. i have a fiat stilo 2005 1.4, they quoted me 190 for the gear and 100 labour i just want to no if you think this is fair or if its right in what there saying about not being able to get just ball joints thanks craig.

So thats £95 per wishbone and £50 fitting for each one

If you can't source the parts and fit them yourself then
about normaly price make sure the wishbones are decent
quality then not cheap pattern parts.

seach for stilo wishbones not ball joints
Newer pressed steel ones available with replacable ball joints
lot available on ebay.

You need spanners and a ball joint splitter and a good pry bar
you need to know if the bolt is 14mm or 12mm before ordering.

Jack and chock both side of the car up as the anti roll bar
can cause a problem getting the new ones back in.
