Styling Front Grille

I haven't although I'd like one but am not willing to pay £85 for a bit of moulded plastic. I know the original grille has moulded lugs on the bottom & press clips on the back at the top of it so it literally just pushes on. (y)

I must admit its taken me a while to bring myself to parting with that much money just to get rid of the badge, but its done and fitted now, totally changes the look of the front, makes it look more angry!

It was simple enough to fit, managed to break a couple of the clips on the new grille cos its a harder plastic and doesnt have the bend factor that the standard one does, nothing that couldnt be rectified tho.

I have been tempted by them actually, atho due to becoming unemployed as from today i think all other mods may be put on hold till ive got a regular income back. If i can sort out a decent paid job im seriously considering the merkur kit minus the spoiler as the looks a bit pooh in my opinion

I'll tell you what Mark if you all get one of these grilles then I suppose I'll have to get one. Can't be out done can I :D The only thing is I reckon you need eyebrow spoilers to complement it which means spending another £60. :(

After seeing it, i'm not too sure if its really worth spending £100 on as i don't think the eyebrows are very good on metalic cars so it makes the grill kinda pointless IMO.

Don't get me wrong I really like the grille but if I do get one it'll probably be one of the last mod's I do as the bonnet drivers side wing & door need respraying first(something for me to do during the summer (n) )

Ok guys let me tell you a simple and cheaper method. Simply remove your grill and take off the badged part, your gonna see that the lines passing under that part doesn't continue and there is a blank, and go to any tuning shop that can make fiber parts and tell them to complete this blank and continue the lines with fiber, once its done paint your grill in any color you want.. Thats it.. I discovered this method and used it on my car an 3 other stilos and it worked great..
