Any of you guys with selespeeds notice any rattle or lacking a better word "klok" sound when it changes gear. Its barely noticeable with radio but if you turn it off I can distinctly hear it especially 2-3 and 3-4 and even feel it.
just wondering what it could be

thanx

sometimes, it has been there from new and at 66000 it has not caused a problem. Nothing to worry about I 'spose.

Its the clutch engaging, mines done it since I had it, only really noticeable changing from first to second at low speeds. That would explain why I don't hear it very often................. :p

mines the same, only notice it when changing down at low speed in 2nd to 1st - I just cross my fingers and turn up the radio, don't notice it if the revs are higher though.

I have never noticed it, i drive with my cd player off quite a lot as i like to here the exhaust note and have not heard anything like you described

i see. 1-2 is fine , I barely hear it. normal sound of clutch engaging. but then it gets louder 2-3 +. sounds like something is not put together tight enough and moves when changing.or like the clutch cannot slide back neatly but just kicks back at once though the change is smooth. ill have it checked eventually when i have the time, but thanx for now guys.

Ok, been listening out more for this recently - can also hear it on 2-3, and possibly 3-4 BUT only when I am driving it slowly. To be honest, I am not that concerned, YET
