When I rag the hotline they refused to discuss it!!

As soon as they found out my head unit was not a BADGED blaupunkt they couldnt get off the line fast enough .

that's weird, they were very polite, and offered up all the info they could

as it does not see your playlists could you get a refund on the adapter?

how much did you pay for it? as i might be interested
to try it in my standard CD headunit

Hi

£57.36 inc del on May 10 (receipt next to me)

Happy to lose a little on this ;) BUT not a lot.

LMK

Steev

cheers for that, too much for me to take a chance, best bet
is to ask for a refund saying that blaupunkt have had a lot of problems
with them and are removing them from sale and then at least you get all
of your money back :)

Just in case people are wondering - I'm still waiting on an answer from Dension support .. they seem to be just as bad as Fiat in responding to questions, so really .... Dension and Fiat should be a perfect match for each other!!

Will let you know when I hear anything.
Chris

Hi From the Country that says No to Europe.
Any good news?
I Have just sended a mail to the French support of Dension, Hope that they will notice that there are Stilo's owners "all over the world" who need this stuff to work. :D

still no news I'm afriad - I'll chase them again today. More people are managing to get the beta software installed onto the unit so it might look like I have to downgrade the firmware and then re-upgrade. Will let you know.

Saying that, it's not much use to me at the moment as the Stilo's back in the garage after the engine shut down on me in Parliment Square, central London!! Much fun was had as you can imagine, the Police don't take kindly to any car stopping outside the Houses of Parliment - and I had armed police outriders either side of the car within a minute.

Just wondered if anyone knows what the spare connection on the back of the Connect+ looks like cos I had mine out and it looked like all of the connectors were in use.
Cheers

All right, Dension.fr just answered back.
They say that the Ice-link+ should be compatible with the Stilo-CN+ because it is with the 147-CN+...
They also say that if it's not they will refund me. think that I'll try and let you know.

Well, another quick update for you - I cannot get the beta firmware onto this device. I have posted it back to the supplier for replacement as one person has posted to the beta forum saying they have it working - but as yet, I'm nowhere near!

Is there any update on this on going saga? have you managed to get it to work yet?

I think if you've had no joy, I'll be going to maplins to purchase an FM modulator and wire it in that way.

Ok.... I've purchased a wired FM modulator from Maplins. Did some searching on the net, and most people have had good results with this method. Seems a lot easier and cheaper than any other solutions (if they do actually exist for the Connect NAV +)

I'll let eveyone know how it goes!

After a number of near misses over on fleabay I have just got meself the ice link plus... so.... JohnsonChris please tell me you have some good news for me :)

Steev

Has anybody actually managed to get the i-pod working on a Sat Nav+ unit?? I've just been on the apple web site and where it talkas about compatibility it says that it'll work with Blaupunkt radions with the CDC but also says that they have to be "non-navigation radios".

Also, it talks about a feature that is acceced by pressing "disc 6" on the radio but fiat radios don't have 6 discs... don't we get it??? Can one only listen to music that is in the playlists???

If any of you guys whan to read about any of theese subjects, here's the link:
http://store.apple.com/Apple/WebObj...s303/2.0.0.11.1.0.6.9.5.19.0.1.0.1.1.2.1.0.15

If anybody has any info for us i-pod lovers and sat nav havers please do tell!!!

Hi

I dont know if this helps (or even if I said it b4) but Blaupunkt make device that connects iPod to Blaupunkt car steroes, as the Nav+ isnt blaupunkt it didnt work ( although the Nav+ knew the ipod was there thinking it was a cd changer and the ipod started to charge)

I tried the link but it appeared broken

Steev

Hi all, sorry for the delay.

My new unit is back, and once again I'm back at square one. The HU recognises I have a CD changer connected, the ipod shows it's connected, but Nav+ cannot play any music. It just says "No Disc".

Still waiting on a new firmware release from the team @ Dension .... I think I'm in this one for the long haul!!

Hello

Which firmware are you currently using? The most recent beta (2.11 I think) specifically mentions Sat Nav+ compatability.

Steev

2.11 I'm afraid - I've looked at the forum and previous comments by users complaining about them not receiving any support have been removed!! The obvious problem of not being able to hear any music along with you not being able to select disc6 still remains.

But, I guess the fact that someone has removed posts from the forum means that someone is at least looking at them!
