Hi friends,

Haven't been on the forum for a while. Baby Max has sort of taken things over!!

Anyway don't want to impinge on the 'Next Stilo Meet' thread but I was just thinking about Brooklands again on the 30th April. Bob and I seemed to be the only Stilos at the last event which was a pretty poor show, so any other Stilos going to turn up this time?

Just think, a photo of a long line of Stilos on Brooklands 'banking' would be nice to show to our friends in Greece who have recently posted those sea-side pics - although I can't guarantee it will be as sunny!!

Had a couple of mods to the Stilo since I last posted - if you check my 'Sig'.

You've had an engine re-map cool! Have you been to your local rolling road to see what it's putting out? & is it louder with the airbox?

Hi Benny, No haven't taken it to a rolling road yet - something I might do in the future. re-map is great - it feels pretty 'standard' below 2500rpm but from then on it really wakes up and it now pulls all the way to the limiter - there is absolutely no flat spot and it means you've got usuable power even when your 'caning' it.

Nice one Jasper - so you are specced up just like me :D

You like that CDA roar around 4000rpm?

Yep Stu it's great! Just need to lower it now and do some exhaust mods....

Actually Eibachs are ok but if you can afford it go for the Bilstein sportline kit it's an extra £200 but you get gas shocks by one of the finest suspension manufacturers going. Also if you can afford it Supersprint do a top exhaust system for the stilo claiming as much as 11bhp although I think thats with the downpipe/manifold fitted, £320 for the backbox £244 for the centre section & £468 for the downpipe/manifold. www.supersprint.com (y)

Ah, just read that post about Bilsteins - oh well, the market moves on I suppose.

I will sort an exhaust out once mine blows. Until then, no point.

Brooklands looking good - need to check the website properly, lol.

Great stuff the more the merrier - looking forward to seeing everyone there....

On the subject of my car I was only considering eibachs - but those Bilstein ones sound tempting. Supersprint is definately the way I'm going on the exhaust too, although I don't know if I'll stretch to changing the manifold?
