My head lights suddenly went dark, and I have checked the fuses. I can't believe that 4 bulbs has been broken at once, so there must be another failiure.

Anyone experienced this problem?

I did . I changed the bulbs although something went horribly wrong causing the bulbs to blow in one headlight but the indicator which wasn't blown but didn't work. Got it tested with a meter and there was some creepy problem in the wiring of the headlight so we just got a second hand headlight and everything worked fine again! Could be the same problem, have you recently changed any bulbs ?

Went dark / dim but didnt go out totally? Possible earth / grounding fault.

If not an earthing problem, I'd suspect the Main beam / Dip beam switch on the steering column maybe?

Check the cables to the headlights are all ok . Did the bulb go dim/dark ?
