my 54 still has the vent
not rubbing it in or nothing but i ordered mine on a saturday and got it on the wednesday
if you hadnt paid the deposit you could just say ive been to another garage and they can get me a car in a week so what can you do.
an hour later the phone back they have found one because the just plain couldnt be bothered to put the effort in to find a car for you

I should get mine on thurs, only because its a bank holiday and it takes a day or so after i sign the loan papers to get the money. But the cars at the dealers waiting on me, and the worst part is i drive past that dealers every day on the way to work...no fair

yeah mine was only the wednesday because elephant took the p**s waiting for them to send the cover note to me so i could pick it up and so the garage could tax it
i re-routed away from the garage but my mate works right near it and decided to text me everyday saying how ready it was :bang:

Im lucky that i live near the direct line call centre. So if i call in for the cover note i can pick it up from their reception and swing by the dealer with the switch card. Pay for it hand over the insurance and get it the next day.

Like i said the only part i didnt get to give a good test was the stereo, but i got some extra on the loan, so i have enough to throw in a nice alpine head if its not up to the job. Have only seen the black facing plate tho, wonder if there is a silver one available.

Checklist:

Bank Loan: money going in tomorrow CHECK
Insurace: picking up docs today and passing into delaers tonight CHECK
Road Tax: Dealer handling tomorrow CHECK
Unusually helpfull dealer: Check

Picking up my shiney new stilo TOMORROW with a couple of hundred left over just incase the stereo p**ses me off...but im sure it will be fine

You will find that most of them are.... Untill you've got your car, then the attitude changes... but you never know, you may get lucky. If not, then just be forcefull
