I used the Gendan Fiat ECUScan package to reset my service reminder on my Stilo Abarth, everything seemed to go ok but when I tried starting the car nothing happened, no turn over from the engine ... anything!

The dashboard lights up and displays the usual engine check.

Am I missing something from the reset because I didn't expect the software to alter any other car configuration?

I've read about a proxi alignment procedure but I've also read it doesn't work??

Any ideas???

Check for error codes with your gendan equipment.

Clearing the service warning should not normally
effect the ecu.

Thanks sixspotman but it was my bad!

An RAC guy just had a look and knew straightaway my battery was to blame. Nothing wrong in the software afterall, just a coincidence and bad timing!

Having the key turned to MAR for about 10 minutes was enough to flatten my exhausted battery (8 year old original Fiat). Replaced with a new one now.
