my friend has a fiat stilo 1.6 16v 51 reg.
it starts up,sounds sweet,but he says after aprox 10 mins the engine management light comes on and then it wont rev out or accelerate.
anybody have any ideas?,is it a common fault,or something naughty(and expensive!!)

Can you get access to a fault code reader? If the EML is on you should have something stored.

Failing that a rough guess- clean out the throttle body and MAP, reset the ECU and calibrate the throttle body. Pure guess work there though

had a friend give it a quick scan today.it comes up P0203,open circuit on injector 3.
does this mean its just a faulty injector?,or do you think theres more to it?.
any idea on price of injectors?.

It could be a faulty injector but not necessarily. Easiest way to check is to swap two injectors around and see if you get the fault code with the same injector at a different location.

Injectors aren't cheap at £92 + shipping (minus 10% discount as a donated FF member mind you )
