Hi,
I know this has been done to death but my connect nav is dead.
There is a disc stuck in it and i,m not getting th fiat logo when i turn the ignition key on.
I,m guessing its bricked ( i was trying to update the flash at the time)
When i was doing the update it said "flashing unsuccesful" or words to that effect and then just went blank.
is there anything i could try , i did scan the forum but couldnt really find anything.
If it is dead and i,m guessing it is is there a work around for changing the clock?
If anyone could offer any advice or what i can try i would be eternally grateful.

I don't think anyone has found a way of recovering from a corrupt flash yet.

Only way I know to set the time without the CN+ is to disconnect the battery and reconnect it exactly at midnight. Time should then show 00:00 and start counting from there.

The details of magneti mareli in Italy? where you can send the unit back to.
I,m guessing it would be cheaper though to source a secondhand unit.
The only issue with that is i,m guessing would be the security code?

I’m sorry , but we don’t sell the buttons about the Connect Nav +.
We have the laboratory of reparation , if you want you can send to our laboratory your Connect Nav+ And so we change the buttons. Normally the minimum cost is 180 euro.
If you are interesting I will explain to you where send.

Do you know at all if i can slot a direct replacement in? Or will there be an issue regarding to any security numbers etc.
i have found one on fleabay for £150 but didnt want buy something that was locked down due to security issues!!!

You will need the Master Code, or once fitted, you can install the 9.8 firmware.
