Fiat Stilo 1.2 Electronic FaultThe engine have this "hiccups", then the "city" functi

Have you seen anything like this?

The engine have this "hiccups", then the "city" function goes off, the fog lights goes off too (if on), the dashboard goes crazy (fuel indicator and speed indicator goes back and foward), etc.

Has someone had this problem before?
I've a video but i can only post it after having 5 posts here...

P.S. Sorry about my english... it's very "rusty".

I suspect a bad earth or a poor battery. Have you tried another battery on the car?

The battery is new, just 6/8 months of use. I suspect that 53A is not enough for Stilo. That or the coils... that connect to tha spark plugs?

I think your correct as the original battery is a 380A.

I'm going to try with one of 60/62Ah... a friend has one and he's going to let me try. I've to charge it for 24 hours and then try it. I've already clean all electric components. I'll post the links later... with the photos.

New 53Ah battery must be ok, I have 45Ah/6 year old battery in 1,6 and no problem. Check bad earth as Shadeyman mentioned above.

I would check out the earth point C15 shown here as this provides earth for the body computer and fog light relay

I see you have taken many things apart


But your earth point C15 is still attached and looks untouched so i would do a voltage drop test on C15 as that is the body computer earth and earth for foglight relay

A friend lend me a battery of 70Ah capacity... i'm charging it. If it charges i'm going to try it.
