hi guys cleaned egr valve recently, car ran great for couple of weeks now juddering on pic up so time for new egr ,price4parts £126 can we get discount through the forum??? and any1 know of cheaper price thanks

Fiat part number for the JTD 115 8 valve has changed several times and the metal housing for the solenoid has been replaced with a black plastic one. This is the Vauxhall equivalent for the JTD 8v EGR valve.

eBay Item number: 220729554344

They are made for Fiat and Vauxhall by Pierburg. You would need to compare the Pierberg part numbers from your valve and the Vauxhall one to confirm suitability.

The Vauxhall Z19D** engines are the same as the equivalent Fiat JTD engines, so most of the parts will be the same. Vauxhall prices for the same parts are cheaper than Fiat prices though.

The Vauxhall part number (55215032) in the eBay listing is the same as the Fiat part number for the EGR valve for a 1910 8v JTD 115 Grande Punto and Croma. I've no idea why Fiat list a different part number for the Stilo 1910 8v JTD 115.

The only difference between the Vauxhall and Fiat supplied EGR valves that I can think of is that perhaps they use a different connector.

does this vauxhall egr in listing use the same connecter so that it fits my 115bhp 8v stilo ?? just curious saves me checking part number on my stilos egr thanks

Needs someone to either buy one or go to a Vauxhall dealer and look at one to check.

is it shopforparts that we get discount for and whats discount they offer?? and has anybody tryed the egr valve that fits the cdti engine item numb on ebay is 320657091924

Why not blank off the EGR valve and forget about it as I and several others have done.

No trouble with the MoT yesterday or any other MoT in previous five years.

The best bit is you can do it for no cost at all! :)

Blocking it may well be a cheap option but it hardly counts as a proper repair. They are fitted or a reason you know and just blocking it means the engine wont be running as designed.

Mine is still fully functional after over 8 years.

I blanked my EGR valve off over the weekend, and the car now pulls like a train. New EGR valve ordered.

As Arg said, it shouldnt be a permanent fix.

Errr quick question:

1) What's the symptoms of the EGR valve being clogged up? I'm on 88K miles now... but it's a petrol, so I do have this also right?

P.S I would like the discount code for Shop4Parts pleeeease
