Whenever i change gear i have noticed that the the engine revs seem to jump for a few seconds.
Now at first i thought it was me just jumping the gun and reving before the gear change so i decided to take my foot off the accelorator completly before pressing the clutch and changing gears and the revs still jumped up anyone know whay this is happening?

You have an engine managment system which
regulates the engine to x amount of revs by motor
control of the throttle body. The systems fly by wire,
the engine is under load and maintains a set amount
of revs. When you put the clutch in the load on the engine
is suddenly reduced so at that throttle setting the engine revs
increase for a fraction of a second before stabilizing
down to the correct revs.

On a throttle cable car your already at tick over when
changing gear.
