hi to all
I want to fit a sub to my abarth and the cd multichanger i had a look behind the glove box insert and there seams no connections to do this i have the lead for the changer where do i plug it in ? and is there pre outs on the back of the main unit or is there a line connection in the car somewhere for the sub to connect to fiat offer a sub as a option so where do they put it and how do they connect it ? if i do have to get to the back of the connect nav dose anyone know how to remove it ? any advice much apricated.

The multichanger plugs onto the back of the satnav unit - to do this you must slide it out by releasing the locking mechanism. The 2 holes each side of the CD slot on the SatNav+ are where you insert the extraction keys - if you do a search on here you'll find numerous threads of how people have done this. I personally used a couple of small electrical screwdrivers, but whatever you use don't push them in too far as the holes go inside the unit! Once you've released the locks it simply slides out.

Perhaps we should post a sticky article describing how to do this Stu? Seems a lot of people asking lately!

Indeed - see my sticky as well - the whole Stilo section needs tidying up, with a lot of common questions answered.
 
thanks pjp removed my unit and can see where to plug in the multichanger but it has no output conections for a sub so can only persume that they are on the cars loom somewhere if any one knows where they are then please advise only other way i know is to come off the speaker conection but this is a last resort move and sure fiat dont do it like that do they !!!!! not last resort somewhere there must be a diagram on fitting there own sub and 260w hifi option has any one got it ? or knows how to

its a aftermarket vibe 10 active very compact but very good would have to use a converter if coming off the speaker terminals but still looking for a line connection any thoughts ? :confused:
