when I got my OH her Stilo the rear off side door didn't unlock with the central locking, when I opened it I noticed that the wiring harness had been detached and had fallen inside the door. I fished it out and re-connected it.

The central locking now works fine as does the door speaker, but whatever tells the car the door is open doesn't. This is actually a bigger problem then it sounds. She always put our baby seat in the read offside seat as she has to park against a wall where we stay. So when she unlocks the car the car self locks whilst she's trying to strap the seat in and also the interior light doesn't come on.

On all the car's I've had previously the door was detected as being open by a small push switch, I can see nothing like this on the Stilo so I'm assuming it must be something inside the door that detects it's open. Could someone please tell me what I should be looking for and do they know what pins it connects to on the multi socket?

Any help appreciated.
