The previous owner had the side airbags under the drivers seat soldered and the connector had been removed. That might be a good idea, but when i recently had to take the seat out (battery disconnected), I lost the correct pairing. I fail to find it anywhere in the manual i just bought. Can anyone of the honoured members help me? The wires on the seat side are coloured blue, black and maroon, and the wires on the floor are green, violet and black/violet.:worship::worship:

blue >> purple
brown>> green
black >> purple/black

Whauw, Deckchair, that was quick, many, many thanks. I will carefully disconnect the battery, leave it for an hour, solder nicely, reconnect battery and get off to the dealer for a reset so that I can get a break from the beep - and be safe....

You won't need to visit the dealer or reset anything, if it's connected correctly then it will be quite happy

I finally got down to the dealer - he reset the airbag faults and all fine now after all my soldering. The faults were not related to my my wire mess, but probably due to the battery being drained at an earlier occation. Thanks a lot to Deckchair for helping out with the wiring.
