Technical Loss of power at cold start up

Hi :worship: I have a steep drive about 1in 4 and when i start up in the morning (the car not me) it will hardley pull off the drive without reving the b*ll*cks off it and thats not good on a cold engine. 1600 active stilo 03 it does get better after about 50 yards any ideas  have only had the car a few weeks(y)

Sorry forgot to say that the engine dies as though the fuel is cut off but it does'nt stop. Is there anybody who knows what the fault is as i have looked up past topics but this is the nearest i could find.:worship:

its probably battery problem id get that checked before any thing else as i had same problem as accelerater is on electrical sensors

Hi all, well i had the battery checked as suggested by stripey stilo but was told it was ok:) So i decided to take 'deckchair5' advice and have a look in the throttle body to see if it was clean(n) Wow it was just like the inside of my exhaust so i got some carb cleaner and started cleaning but it was slow work:idea: Started engine up and sprayed it in that did it (y) It started up ok this morning and pulled off the drive no problem and i do believe its a lot better with its pick up and not slugish at all.
Now the down side, the engine managment light has come on but i am waiting for my obd 2 to come then i can hopefully turn out the light:)
Good luck to DECKS and MSCORTAR with their work on EXAMINER 5.5 and i hope it will be available to all.
