Hi KoArAng

It sounds like you've made your mind up?....but just wanted to say I think the two tone wheels would look great. In the moc-up you've done it gives the car a sort of 'Touring' car 'Le Mans' look to it. Plus the rear splitter does look great...how come Fiat are paying for the fitting though??
Hi Jasper,
Thanks for the input mate. Fiat owe me, due to the fact that they fobbed me off when i asked them to get some paint issues sorted out when i first got the car, it took them 3 months to respond with the area manager. Turns out the dealer had been givin me the run around, and had not even spoken to the bloke.
When i finally got to see him (purely because i was in the local fiat garage buying mats) he said he had heard nothing about it.
Anyway, he said he would get everything sorted for me, so i asked him if he would fit and spray my splitter for me as a good will gesture, and he said yes... cool eh. So the cars due to go into olympian bodyshop next monday to get the paint and bumper sorted. Saved me a couple of hundred squid ;) and at least being olympian i know it will be a good job.

Ahhhhh....I see just goes to show if you don't ask you don't get; or is that if you don't complain you don't get?!

Post lots of pics when it's done...look forward to it.

lol... i complained to to Fiat and my dealer enough, but when i spoke to the area manager i was nice to him and he responded the same way, just told him of my problems and how frustrating it all was and he was very sympathetic. So i thought i would play on it a bit, we were talking cars for quite some time and then i just asked him nicely. He's a nice guy and anyone this side of london that needs help with a dealer problem, then ask to speak the the area rep and he'll sort it out. i'll have to find out his name.

Hi,

Just came across this thread by chance, but I had my wheels off my Cinq done in white by a guy in Bournemouth back in September the company's name is Trimworx, I had the guys card but can't find it now, but he is listed in Yellow Pages and did a great job on my wheels.

He can do nay colour finish and has lots of colour sample cards to choose the colours from.

At first I was a bit wary of him as I'm sure he only had a mobile number listed in yellow Pages even tho he had an add, but once you meet him and get a card its got a land line number as well. It seems to be his own company that he does on the side as his van which he collects the wheels in is for a tow bar company or something, but he has a quick turn around, a day or so.

There is another place down in Poole called Alloy Magic but the lead times are weeks rather than days!

Aaron.

Hi KoArAng,

I also think the two-tone rims would look very nice. (y)
Just make sure they are powder-coated and not just spray painted. Powder-coating lasts a lot longer and is not affected by brake dust or oil.

Thanks for the info J333EVO and SLOVAC every bit of help/input counts.

I went down to Alloy Magic today and wasn't too impressed with the turn around there, at least a week and i would have to get the wheels to them.
I will try the other guy you mentioned J333EVO if i can find his number...
Alloy magic recon around £300 for the job, but the boss was not there so could not give an exact price.

BUT i saw some lovely wheels in the shop in front of Alloy Magic so im just looking into them on the net right now to see if the're available as they were twotone..

They'll still be shiny TC just a different shade of shiny :)

BTW scrap my Konig Arospeed question, I got the konig badge mixed up with another company DOH

Isn't it typical, I found the most perfect set of wheels today and do they fit a stilo... NOOOOOOOOOO...

Umm...............................

just looking at it again, I'd forgotten how beautiful the Stilo is, I've been too busy having an affair with my bike and I've abandonded the car a little I guess. When I see a good photo of a Stilo I wonder why they've sold in such small numbers and why so many people hate them, looks as good as any 147 to me!

Cheers for your input TC, You can relax now cuz im not painting the wheels...

I've decided on some new 18s for sure, now i have to find the perfect wheel... i hate makin choices... i have a few in mind but just can't decide.

About the rear end TC, yes its a new splitter...explanation is above ;)

Your right about the Stilo though, I think the main problem is in standard form they can look rather odd, its not untill they are modded a little that the character seams to come out in them. IMO.
