long story short, last december i bought my stilo, the seller was honest and said that he had been in a slight scrape in the drivers side rear quater and had repaired the bodywork, i was happy with the job and to me it looked completely fine..
well a month or so ago i noticed the bodywork there deteriorating, bubbles and some slight discolouration in places. Turned out that the guy who did the bodywork hasnt heard of properly mixing body filler, the bubbles and discolouration where due to patches of un-mixed filler which was actually still soft under the paint, how that happened i have no idea.
well i've picked up a few bodywork skills of my own so have pretty much fixed everything, ive dug out all of the problem areas and re-finished them, its all nice and smooth and at the moment has all primered up.
well my question is has anyone had any experience getting a decent colour match on the stilo techno grey, paint code 698? seeing as it seems to be a very popular colour for stilos. Am i best getting my paint mixed at halfords... or should i just let a pro do the painting for me?
cheers.
(ps. don't know if i've put this in the right section)
