Right, my interior door handle has snapped clean in 2 (I mean the large grab handle that you use to pull the door shut with)

I've got a feeling it was 'invisibly' repaired by a previous owner and the repair has failed rather than it being caused by my heavy handedness!

Am I right in thinking I'll need to replace the whole door card, it looks like its all one unit?

My interior is leather so I'm guessing my chances of picking up a single leather door card on ebay are slim to zero!

Ive found a doorcard from a boggo interior stilo on ebay, would it be possible to graft my leather upper section on to it?
Also the guy wants £50 + p+p for the doorcard, anyone think thats a bit steep?

Or if anyones got any other suggestions how to repair/replace it?
thanks in advance!

If the actual handle has snapped, then unelss you go to a scraapper, you need a new door card. If it's just that the handle has pulled away from the door card, you can, if you remove the door card, try re-attaching the handle, using either self-tapping screws or even a soldering iron to re-'weld' the plastic. You'll see what I mean when you get the door card off.

yeah the handles both broke away from the fixings and then snapped in 2, so I think its well passed the stage of repairing it!
