I bought a 3 door Abarth about 2.5 years ago and you were all very helpfull in ur advice.

Unfortunatly now the engine needs replacing as the big end has gone.

Fiat quoted £3k for a new engine.

I have managed to source an engine of a 5 door abarth.

Is this going to be able to go into mine? Is it a tough job that is going to cost a fortune?

Im not sure wether its worth doing or not. I finished paying for the car in Jan and the thought of another loan for a new car is sending shivers down my spine.

I dont wanna see the car be used as scrap, it has full leather, sunroof, sat nav cruise control parking sensors, etc.

The car itself is in mint condition.

Any advice would be welcome, I kno its not gonna add any value to the car but i really dont wanna see it go. I like and enjoy the car a lot.
