WHITE DIALS FOR THE STILO

Does anyone know where I can get some white dials for the Stilo, tried everywhere I can think off but no joy!!!.

Not seem any myself, i wouldn't mind blue dials like my old Saxo VTS had, they would go well with the Sassy grey exterior!

53 plate, Stilo 3-door, Sassy grey, Alloys to follow, 1.2 Active, 5-Disc CD-Changer -- 45mpg!

Have you tried Lockwood? they seem to do every make, I havn't investigated it myself, but maybe worth a try[?]

You know, the backgoround colour of your rev counter and speedo, fuel gauge, etc. They are black in most models other than the Abarth which are white.

Really, this kind of accesory should be more readily available from fiat, other manufacturers, BMW for example, have comprehensive accesory brochure, with stack of choice, the Brio catalogue is limited to say the least.

I agree with you James, the Brio catalogue is limited to say the least.

To be honest though, I've had the clocks out of my Stilo and it looks like a sealed unit, I think it'd be quite a job or near impossible to change them with breaking something.

i remember seeing a web site about changing dials ... it was a personal web and a man explained the wholeprocedure step by step and it even had the dials dimensions but it was when i bought my car nearly 2yrs ago ... i will search through my favorites and post the site if i find it but i doubt it.

Yes, that would be nice janejv, it looks impossible to me, as I said when you remove and unplug the dials from the dashboard it comes out as a complete unit and it looks like a sealed unit, there are only places for you to change the bulbs, I think it's supposed to be anti-tamper, who knows?

There are dials available for the Stilo at 65EUR (About £45) a set and there is a link in the topic which gives step-by-step instructions - unfortunately it's in Dutch but there are plenty of resources on the web which will translate the page for you.

Ive contacted Lockwood about this a few times and they are in the process of making a dial kit for the Stilo but it has been delayed. It should be out at some point this year but the more we pester them the sooner we should get it!

Is yours not an Abarth anyway Steve-o?

Nah its only a 1.6, I got the smaller engine cos it looked like an insurance claim was gonna cost me alot.
I got the dealer to spray the bump strips and to give me side skirts and spoiler for free.

I'm thinking about doing the same actually, it looks really good

Well it took my dealer about 4 attempts to do mine, the paint kept flaking off.

I wondered if that might be a problem, I wonder if it would be better to order the Abarth parts?

It was just down to the dealer, 1st attempt was by a mobile sprayer who miised a few bits and didnt even take the strips off the car and the other failiers were down to it not being primed!
They were trying to do it on the cheap but it just cost em loads more in the end!!
