Yes stupid but I purchased a Metro Stoplock Pulsar:

without remembering about where the Stilo horn is. :bang: I'm sure I am not the first. I have an Active Sport 1.6 late 2004. Anyone know if this lock can be fixed without sounding the horn. Is there a way to disable the horn when the ignition is switched off easily? I guess I could disconnect the horn but I don't want to bother with that really if I can help it. Every time I try to fit this the horn goes off.

If this is impossible any further tips on this type of security device for a Stilo? A different make perhaps?

Anyway thanks for reading. I just picked up my Stilo Active Sport 1.6 Metallic Silver. I really like this car I can't believe so many people tried to talk me out of a Stilo. Of course now they get a shot at it themselves the story changes. :)

I learnt the hard way. I had a full steering wheel cover. Normally it is fine...but one time I left it, it must have moved and was pressing on the horn constantly for 45 mins!! My gf neighbours weren't happy!! (I was out at the cinema) anyway i think i blown the fuse on my horn. But i have already had the horn replaced out of 3rd year warranty so going to take it back and blame them ;) if its not the fuse. Next time i'm going to find the fuse for the horn (hopefully its not the fuse box in the engine) and create a little tag on it. So when i lock it up, i pull the fuse for the horn.

Or another option is to make a lil switch for the horn...if anyone knows how to take the horn cover off the steering wheel!??!
