Hi all,

when driving my stilo multiwagon, the external temp keeps flashing from outside temperature say 18 degrees to -40 degrees, i susspect the sensor has gone faulty .

is the sensor built into the mirror unit, and can the sensor be replaced on its own,or do i need a new mirror

Before you get into replacing the sensor, several on here have cured this kind of fault by de-coupling the wiring socket by the door hinge, cleaning with contact cleaner and reconnecting.

I thought that was only if the temp display goes '--.-C' of '--.-F' ie loss of connection?
