Which of these panel air filter is better I have read good points and bad points about them both but have seen that alot of people seem to think the green cotton air filter is better?

I have the 1.6 stilo so if anyone eles has with either of those air filters on please give feedback.

Thanks but I dont want to be messing around taking the old air box out ETC. So I am just going to get a Panel filter which fits in the standard airbox.

But was wondering on which one to buy between them both.

I had the K&N in my airbox before i got my GSR and it was very very good. Nice sounding to. I could sell you mine if you want? I have the original box and everything. Used for about 6 weeks so it's practically new.

Thanks for the feedback on the K&N, I am still unsure about if I should get the K&N or the Green cotton air filter,

Does the K&N come with the 'oil' on the air filter?

As far as im aware of there was no oil on the filter it was very very clean looking and feeling.

yeh I thought they did come pre-oiled.

Is the panel filter one size for all models of Stilo because I have seen the dimensions and they all seem to be the same size (This is becuase I cant seem to fine a 1.6 green cotton air filter but would the 1.8 version still fit in the 1.6 airbox?)

Also how do you access the airbox on the 1.6 stilo ive heard you have to go underneath the vehicle?

thanks im getting a positive feedback on the K&N for the stilo has nobody here tryed the green cotton air filter?

Also if I do decide to get the green cotton filter I would have to buy the 1.8 one because I cant find the 1.6 one so would it still fit?

No, the 1.6 and 1.8 filters are different. The K&N part number for the 1.8 is 33-2846 and for the 1.6, 33-2841.

The green cotton air filter has all the same part numbers for the panel filter for a stilo, Think I will just have to go for the K&N I doubt that there is much of a difference anyway was just wondering which you guys thought was better but since nobody has tryed the green cotton type I may aswell get the K&N
