hi I am looking to put a bit of money into doing up my fiat stilo active 1.2 2002 3dr.

One thing I was looking into was replacing the oem driver and passenger seats with reclining bucket seats. However the obvious airbag ocs sensors would be a problem and airbags prob would go off in worst case scenario.

However is I was to hook up two Occupant classification sensor emulators like the one listed here:

http://cgi.ebay.ie/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...893308&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_500wt_1182

would it be theoretically possible to install new bucket seats safety?

any got and advice pro cons or opinions on a switch like this?

thanks all in adnvance

ah ok mine did have an ocs at least in the passanger side anyway because mine needs replacing with the airbag failure light :p

you reckon this idea is ok then?

yes the idea would be okay mate, just get yourself an ocs emulator for the passenger side. you maye get an airbag light on the dash so the stilo has airbags mounted in the seats.
you'll need to adapt your seat rails to fit the bucket seats
