Hi guys, I need some help desperatly (especially now the summers back)! I've been looking on here for advice/helps/tips to what the problem might be but i've come up empty.

I have a Stilo 2.4 Abarth and recently my Panoramic Blade Sunroof stopped working. I could't work out why though as it gave no signs of stress etc. I tried doing to re-set but thats only to close the sunroof and my problem is with opening it. The Sunroof motor itself seems fine as it makes all the right noises and i manually opened it slightly using the emergency key and i did a reset which closed the roof no probs! This points to the inside curtain but why would this not work? If its the safety feature thats cut in?? How do i reset that?? Or could it be a fuse?? Well thats the first problem now on to the other!

Just last week as if the sunroof wasn't enough to deal with all the electics on the driver side door stopped working too. It was fine but all of a sudden nothing! The remote central locking works off the keyfob but only opens and closes the passenger side. The fob is also able to open and close the passenger window. The panel on the driver door lights up and is able to control the passenger window and door locks and window mirror but none of these work on the drive side. When i try to open the driver window i can hear noises coming from inside the door which sugests its trying to open and this is the same for the central locking. I've had it looked at but they seem to think all my motors have gone at exactly the same time which i doubt very much!

Could these issues be caused by a fuse, or a safety feature or could it be a bad earth?? Any help on this would greatly be appriciated!

Thanks guys!!!

P.S. I dont know if this will mean anything but i always seem to get a very minor static shock from the driver door everytime i exit the car.

I'd be surprised if the two problems are connected.

The reset sequence should in fact open the sunroof (and also close it) but in my experience it doesn't always do the same thing - dependant upon what fault condition you have at the time.

Lot of big threads on this topic so make sure you read them all :)

Be careful using the manual winder as its been discovered a lot of damage can be done if it's difficult to turn.
