Wonder if anyone can hazard a guess as to the source of a water leak at the rear hatch. Water is accumulating on the inside of the rubber seal along the bottom of the hatch but source is not obvious. Could be wiper arm grommet, badge on boot lid or window itself (unlikely as glued in)?. Have adjusted the catch so lid is a bit tighter against the seal but water still getting in.

If it was the wiper arm seal I think you would find the water would accumulate actually inside the hatch (you would hear it sloshing around as you open it) and it only drains out with the hatch fully open, pouring all over the rear speakers!
I would inspect the rubber seal round the boot VERY closely just the slightest nick or perishing can let in a suprising amount of water.

i know there was a problem with water entering the boot of the 3 doors Stilo trough the rubber seal on the back of the rear light units around one of the mounting rods - a bit of silicon glue would solve this problem.
I believe there is a service news related to this problem.
I don't know if this also applies to the 5 doors model.

Think I have finally cracked this problem and it was the rubber grommet on the rear wiper spindle that was the culprit. Put a little clear sealant between it and the window glass and no leakage since despite heavy rain. Suspect this if you find water on the inside of the boot lid above the rubber seal position and directly below the central lock mechanism. It seems to run down between the plastic trim and the metal outer skin and falls out at this point.
