A daft question but one that I need answering.

My stilo is due for a service as the Service Due message appears whenever I start the car. This time I was thinking of getting it done at a local garage rather than a fiat dealer.

If I take the car to a local garage are they able to reset the service due message or is this only something Fiat can do?

Some garages have the neccessary equipment. It would be better to ask your local garage whether they have it.

But re-setting it isn't a nessesity, so if they haven't, I wouldn't worry to much about it

True, but I can be quite anal when it comes to things like this so would like it to disappear

The new version 2.0 of yani's diagnostic software has the "Service Interval Reset" function.
