Average speed 114mph :eek:

My last tankful was just under 52mpg and consisted mainly of commuting which is a mix of 70-80mph cruising on the motorway for 30 miles and town/village/traffic jams for the rest.

I'm too scared to keep any kind of record of the coupé's mpg.
 
I have a really big garden..if you know what i mean... my driveway stretches from the south coast to the midlands ;)

top speed.. hehehehe ..it wasn't too much more than that cough cough, being the B-trip I set it when the time was right so as not to allow the town driving and only have the test track speeds on it...
 
Manage to get 55mpg regularly from my Punto 1.9JTD (52,000 miles). When I bought it (20,000 miles) I got about 51mpg.

Have managed to get 71.6mpg before (according to the computer) but that was driving like a Vicar (y)

I managed to get 54 mpg out of my 1.6 3 door Stilo over a few days by really careful driving, then the engine died on the way to work and would not re-start. When the RAC turned up to sort out the problem their lap top showed that the engine management system couldn't reconsile the difference between the fuel being used and the air entering the engine and recorded a map sensor fault,
the RAC man advised, Stop pratting about and drive the Bloody thing like it was designed for, It's italian after all!

No problems since. :p

How come your journey time is showing eighty hours on the SatNav then Koa? There's now way you averaged 114mph over 80hrs of driving surely?!

LOL... OK lets get this straight before it goes out of control...

I think PJP was starting to get the picture here...

There's no way you could average 114mph in this country over 80 mins let alone 80 hours unless it was either

a: on a test track

b: not in this country at all or

c: a dodgy photo as the name in the gallery suggests.. ;)

yes sorry i should have corrected that, it is in hours, I said mins to try to prolong the scam ;)

Sorry to spoil the fun :D I thought when I first saw it that it was a photoshop job, but I still had to confirm in my own car this morning that it really was hours and not minutes to be sure :)
