Technical ESP/ASR retrofitting??

i am now starting to think now that my car is sharing more similarities with the GP,
as it shares pretty much the same induction set-up, and thinking now after looking at alexh365's GP that my setup looks pretty similar, but was only brief and wasnt looking for it at the time, i will do some more research into this though :)

as i've only seen mine from the top and side (not having had to remove it) i cannot be sertain if the second pic is from the top.. but if it is.. it don't look anything like mine.. i'll take some pics for you tomorrow :)

the second pic is from the top, unless that is that its mounted different to mine as well. although i wouldnt of thought so

right after having a look at alex's car i think that the ABS ECU of the GPS is the same as my stilo, as is the mounting of the ABS pump. the only difference is the pipes from the brake servo but only slightly set in.

Stilo:

what do people think?
i rekon i will start to try and source a GPS ABS pump modulator and ECU
and then all i will need to source is the yaw sensor and the steering rack sensor

Why is this option available ?

I have been wondering about the same... I have the ASR, but not the ESP. If I "activate it" and add the button for it beneath the ASR button, will I get it for free?

Actually I'm happy I don't have it (for the fun of it), but for safety reasons it could be a clever idea.

ESP is not that easy, you need extra sensors and harness.
ASR would be more easy.

p.s. there is no separate ESP button, the third (empty) button is for Auto on Abarth.

Hehe. Okay. Thought they all used the ABS sensor from the hub.

But this means ESP can't be shut off?
