my stillo 1.6 16v year 02 is only running on 3 cylinders, and the3 fault code reader says p 0354, somit a coil. coil D , which is coil d , and do i count from the front of the engine, pulley end or the rear flywheel end, ????

P0354 refers to coil number 4 counted from the crankshaft pulley end of the engine.

thanks, this coil has been replaced in the past with a pattern part, anyway i have tracked down a new replacement, which i will go and get this morning and let you know what the result is, regards.

I got the new coil, the same as the original oart, and it ran perfectly straight away, so i cleared the codes. it runs a whole lot better than its done for 6 months , and the fuel consumption has reduced by 5 mpg. result.
for anyone without a code reader, you should get one , you cant maintain the car properly without understanding whats throwing up faults. ebay 20 to 25 quid, worth every penny.
