I got a alarm fault on the car, still a not fixed.

Get the extra beep when locked with key remote.

Now I accidentally set off the alarm 3am today doing me fuses. What surprised me, is that the horn didn't go off even though the siren I believe is bust.

Where is the siren located? easy to get to? and is the horn meant to go off with the alarm?

Think the alarm is underneath the wiper scuttle...

sigh that is a *cough* to get to.

Fortunately I got a electronics wiz in the house. Can the siren be reconditioned?

Unlikely as it's a sealed unit.

Quite exposed to the elements under the scuttle so I think they often fail due to corrosion.
