Some may notice that this is a second post on the same issue, which I don't tend to make a common practise of doing but I need to find out asap.

Is there any way of checking a Fiat's Paint code using its number plate?

I need to know if a Stilo is same colour / paint code as mine. Is there a way? It's just on the Net I may have sourced a complete rear end for my Stilo where the KA hit is 5 weeks ago, for a very reasonable price, but I want to check the colour is the same.

It sort of looks it in a pic

Would you have said that this Stilo is the same blue as mine





Or could someone tell me what code for 'AE52 UKJ' is please?

P.s, before anyone mentions, I know that the boot lid will have the foglamps built in, just like mine, but for the Price, its something I'm going to put up with for now

I would have thought a phone call to a Fiat Dealers parts dep would tell what colour from the reg. Why cant the people who are selling the car parts tell what colour it is.

Jon the doner stilo still has its bonnet, why dont you email the seller and ask them to have a look at the paint ident plaque at the front end of the bonnet mate

Wondering though if some of the colours were maybe halted after the first phase of Stilo's though. That could be a sticking point, though from the pictures they certainly look like very similar colours :chin:

Ta for the answers guys, going to try calling the seller tomorrow morning to get them to check paint code

Works over here. Give them the reg.numbert, then they should find the VIN number - and then the delivery color.

Right, called my not so local dealership and been given a colour code for the wreak of 403.b

Mine is 480.



They likly to be similar?

Just done so, got to call back in 10 min once he's found keys to unlock it and pop the bonnet

Rear end parts are in fairly good condition apparently, so I might possibly be in luck.
