If you look closely at ball joints you will see the strut has a clip at each end to keep it secured to the ball joint. Remove the clip and the strut will come away from the joint and can be removed. But beware, the hatch door will be heavier than you might think. Make sure it is well supported before you remove anything - or a significant bump on the head may follow!(n)

Getting the clip off ..no problemo..its when you try to get it back on the fun starts..:ROFLMAO: :mad:

Supporting the hatch ..no problemo..2x1 from you local D.I.Y..:D
