Hi,
I'm from Slovenia and i have Fiatecuscan, becuse i need it, to do a proxy procedure to stop blink km(distance) on my dials (retrofit a Connect Nav+ unit). So i did it again (proxy procedure) becuse i replaced my menual climate control unit in my Stilo with automatic, and the distance on dials are stil(again) bilinking.
Any ideas what to do?

the proxy procedure seems to be unreliable for the climate control node.
If you are capable of reading the eeprom contents of the 9(s)12 microprocessor inside the bodycomputer (i.e. with UPA) it is possible to alter the configuration file to add the climate control unit.
If you post your binary file here i can change it for you, after that you can reprogram your BC with this file and your BC will accept your climate control because it's configuration matches the present nodes.
You also might try the 4 sec. delay circuit between the power line towards the climate control node to keep it invisible during the initial check by the body computer.
But first of all try the 2.8 version of FES, according to Yani the Proxy procedure should be improved.....
So just to confirm, patching pin 3 to pin 7 with my ELM327 won't allow access to airbags and I need a different cable?
Why is everyone saying you just need to connect pin 3 to pin 7
I've brought the license and this software is amazing, does everything except the airbags with the patches I've done, so this is because I've got the wrong lead for the airbag ecu through the OBD port then?

You'll need a VAG COM or OBDKey interface to access airbags with FES.
So a VAG COM is a different type of lead? any links to one? And is a OBDkey another type of lead also?
VAG COM lead has a different interface built into a normal 16 pin OBD connector on one end and a USB connector the other.
OBDKey interface is built into a larger 16 pin OBD connector with either wire free BlueTooth or a USB connector lead.

There is so much conflicting info on there it's unreal!
I've found it difficult to connect to Yani's Website and Forum the past few days, anyone else having issuses?

Slightly OT for the Stilo Section, but are there any known plans to allow access to the mk3 Panda's Selespeed Gearbox ECU Yani?
Version 3.0.3 is still not able to connect to the Fiat Stilo Climate Control Node properly, cuz my proxi-alignment failed again.
