Tuning How low should i go?

The Eibach Sportline springs are meant to lower the car by (upto) 50mm at the front and 30 at the back. Since I had the wrong springs on the front after the dealership put JTD ones on after one snapped, I think the front was lowered more than the 50mm but haven't verified this.

Because of the lightness of the 1.2/1.4, a 50mm drop at the front won't cause any issues whatsoever. Even the biggest of speedbumps don't cause any issues for me. The overall look as well (though I haven't got a good wide angle side shot of the car, I'll attach one or two trying to show it) is of an evenly lowered car. There's no discernible difference between the front and the rear in terms of lowering HOWEVER this could well be down to the afore mentioned light engine. If you do the same on a JTD or Abarth, the nose down stance will be more noticeable but at the same time, it's just 20mm so won't look ridiculous or over the top by any means. Though of course a further 20mm drop at the front could well cause more issues in terms of clearing speedbumps and the like.

Also in terms of handling - as I've said the ride is a little harsher but it's still civilised and I still enjoy the long distance refinement the Stilo has. I just find that when it comes to the twisty stuff the Eibach spring/dampers plus the strutbrace make it a smile enducing experience rather than cringing as it feels like the door handles rub the tarmac - of course this again could've been down to the wrong springs having been fitted ;) :D

Anyway, some recent(ish) pics to illustrate...
