What type of roads did you 'play' on? And I presume this was in the manual?

Uno to Stilo, thats some move

Amazing car you'll love it mate.

Took it around kingston, mainly a-b roads, but also gave it a drive down the A3 for a bit, really smooth torque delivery, and could fell the 'animal' within just waitng to get out.

What is the current Uno you drive? Unless its a turbo, the performance of the Abarth is gonna seem awesome

Thought i was getting a deal of sorts, considering i work for the dealer, but it seems that i could get better stilo abarth's with more features, less miles, and for the same/ less money...

Feel really gutted that the dealer i WORK for tried to rip me off, and didn't even try to get me a good deal in the 1st place.

Will have to wait and see now what happens if anything...

What happened to your 20% or whatever discount that fiat should give you as a worker ? I can't understand how they could try to rip you off like that..
I got my Abarth Selespeed with sky window, Leather interior, 17" alloys, Metalic paint, and Alarm..with satnav 7" screen as standard for 13,200 brand new just cuz i know someone at Fiat... How could they expect you to buy whats essentially a used motor with a lot less optional extras for just 1,700 less than mine..and the fact mine is a selespeed makes yours even more of a rip off..
Im sure you could get a lot more off than that mate ?

When i enquired about it, they said '' oh its fully loaded and every thing''

was it f##k, had leather, 8 speaker+ sub sound system,5 cd changer and sky roof...

No sat-nav or telephonic, No c/control, Not even radio controls on steering wheel, and 6,000 miles, and its already had a new o/s door check strap...
cos i fitted it myself.

Anyway, got tons of better deals off the web today, and will throw that at 'Sales' (lol) tomorrow.

I am amazed that, as an employee, they have really tried to screw you!

Only the Selespeed option tends to have all the toys to play with.

Went in today, walked up to the sales manager, and said ' not interested in that stilo now'...

all he said was 'ok'...

...OMG coming up to xmas, quietest time of year, and just lets a deal walk away like that.

Found a fully loaded cherry red abarth, even with keyless go, on 53 plate, but 2004 car, for 11,999 with 1650 miles... 222 miles away though !

You're employer sounds crap mate, but TBH, many have experienced the same at Fiat Dealers, but considering you are a fellow employee

I can get the stilo with the spec i want, list price £16239 for £12992 with discount i get for employees of FIAT...

The stilo is still within grasp!

I would go to a rival dealer as well just to f### them off big time... oh could you imagine turning up at work in it..the faces, and mine

Met black, 17" alloys, upgraded to 8 speaker + sub soundsystem, alarm, leather and steering wheel stereo controls.

Didn't want sky roof because where i live i would probably find a wheely bin put through it, wouldn't ever use sat-nav for sure...

comes to £12,992, with discount, which is 1500 more than the ex-demo/runaround/??? which was what i was going to go for, but decided against.

Stereo would get replaced, definately be lowered and probably get Remap/air filter done in its 1st year.

Not bad - just did same spec on coast2coastcars, and their price was £13,389.

How come you are not tempted by the Selespeed? And the whole Nav+ system is pretty awesome.

Yep, just done that and it came to £12,328

I just like manuals more than selespeed, dunno why, and Nav+ just wouldn't get used, and I'm trying to budget as much as possible.
