My 04 1.4 Stilo has a big crack across the windscreen along the bottom looks like it comes out from the bottom (engine end) and runs all the way along wipers. No idea how long it has been there.

Autoglass coming this f=aternoon to replace is there anything I should look out for or is this a straight forward job on the Stilo?

I wouldn't call it straight forward as I think the black scuttle cover must be removed :chin:

Be careful if you have auto wipers as they sometimes don't work properly afterwards (unlikely to have them on a 1.4)

No auto wipers on mine.

AUTOGLASS didn't bother to turn up!!! Rang them at 5.15pm to ask if they were going to keep 2-6 appointment and they said will get Aylesbury branch to call me as they passed appointment to them. 6pm came and went no one bothered to call.

Phoned national branch again and they said Aylesbury Autoglass now closed!!! Will ask them to call me tomorrow to explain 'no show' and to arrange new appointment.

Obviously they don't want your business. I'd go somewhere else that does.

I am sick of half-arsed companies that don't get things right the first time round.

I have to use Autoglass due to Tesco car insurance
