1.Check connections.....Give good clean and should hopefully fix ya probs

2. Battery condition..........You need a really good battery for a stilo. Especially now that the weather is getting a tad bit colder my stilo did this last winter put in a new battery and ei presto.

Just out of curiosity why did you swap if it was like this from the get go?? As we've always said if a stilo aint been looked after leave well alone...I hope you get sorted soon keep us posted on your progress

What you need to remember is you've just bought a 7 year old car! How many owners has it had, how has it been looked after, what has it had done to it previously!

Put them all together and then you'll know if you've bought a pup!

1. Check connection under drivers seat, fat footed rear passengers can knock the connector under the seat.

2. Battery condition, check the age! Over 5 years replace it it.

3. No idea, you could check the electro power steering setup is in good condition.

4. My clutch bites high, always has, but I don't need to give it beans to keep it going. Maybe your jumping off the clutch too quick.

5. Check the brake linkage. On right hand drive cars the brake is linked by a large bar to the master on the passenger side. Make sure the passenger car mat isn't jammed up under it.

Might be worth treating the car to a garage service if your not so handy yourself. Above all enjoy your Stilo purchase, 1.2 good choice.

i tried to restore the biting point via clip and pull pipe method but the fluid did not come out till i pulled pipe off is there a better way to draw the fluid out via the one click method instead of pulling pipe off

its a bit better
but i rekon it can be much much better if it bleeds correctly
