General hid transformer/ignitor

hey guys

problem with my xenons :bang: tested it all out myself, then got a specialist to test it too, the problem is definitely a broken/faulty hid transformer/ignitor.
Fiat wont sell me this part on its own and say that i have to buy the whole headlight unit to get it (£700 or something like that ive been told)

i am wondering if anyone on here has had this problem and knows where to get one of the transformers/ignitors on its own???
preferably somewhere in the midlands ( i live in Derby )

not my area of expertise.. however 3 things spring to mind
1) breakers
2) a standard generic unit (try halfords if you're in a hurry)
3) pull the unit and type the serial number into search (if it is not a fiat specific part you will find it)
