hey, today i managed to crack a parking sensor :mad: , low bollard that they didnt pick up , ( managed not to damage bumper though, not even a paint scuff :D ) well got a couple questions to , well basicly anyone that knows

1, can i just replace the 1 sensor or and they on a series string of sealed soldered connections??

2, depending on question 1 where can i get these and price ranges??:)

3, whats the easiest way to get at them ie.. remove whole rear bumper or can i just take out the bump strip that they are mounted on??

oh its a 3 door and they are factory fitted if this makes a difference i dont know :)

any help ... big big THANKYOU :worship:

ah them young these days.. all these topics have been discussed in much detail and could be located using the search button (top right of your screen) - do that for full guidelines..

as a quick note:
1) no you can replace just one
2) scrap yards (good chance they’ll be damaged) or at the dealers (about £60 each)
3) depending on size of your hands, flexibility and location of damaged sensor..
given you've small (or weirdly flexible) hands - you can get to left most and right most sensors through lower access holes in the bumper (but unplugging the sensor was a task i could not achieve.. i’d say it’s impossible with 1 arm.. you would damage sensor loom – and that’s about £80) only other option is to get the bumper off.. it’s not as hard as you think..

which dealer pls :worship: i desperately need 2 (and although i've no means at the moment - when some become available i'd much rather get 2 for the price of 1 – last desira quote was £60)

--------------

Edit: actually think my local has offered it for £35 too (memory is failing these last few month.. writing a thesis takes its toll - but they say it'll be worth it?.. maybe i'll be able to afford all the parts i need :D)

my apologies for incorrect info :(
