General Xeon head lights

They don't seem to be a very common option, probably because they are so ridiculously expensive!

Look good, but I don't know if they are just a bit of a pose really. Worth it if you get a good price on a deal including them I'd say.

Yeah, kinda agree - an option that I would consider but only if heavily discounted as part of a deal.....

And replacing them can be costly, iirc - I am sure poggy on the Ulysse section has made comments about this - will go and have a look................

The biggest problem you'll find if you opt for Xenons is you'll constantly get flashed by other drivers for dazzling them, instantly invalidating your better view of the road, cos everyone will just stick their lights on full beam to get back at you.

Also you won't have the integrated front fog lights that normal Stilo headlights have. Oh and those nasty little square washer jet things let into the front bumper spoiling the front bumpers lovely lines.

I have got them: Xenon (and not Xeon)
Absolutely a fantastic feature on a Stilo: you will also get the integrated light washers which are perfectly built in within the front bumper and you will never notice them.
The Xenon have also an auto-adjusting feature: this will intervene at start up and will adapt to the car weight and type of road.
Never has another car flashed at me.
Xenon lights are simply fantastic.
:D a 10/10 feature for a Stilo.

the dealer is clearly incompetent then :) ..probably he even does not know what Xenon means!

everything is expensive if it goes wrong...all optionals really, including the Sky window, the Dual Air Con, the ABS, the ASR, the MSR, the ESP, the electrical seats, the tyres, the breaks, the CD player, etc...then we should buy a cheaper car really if we are so worried, or with no extras!
We cannot always think "what if it goes wrong" otherwise we should buy only cheap old cars really.
Once you try the Xenon lights you could never be without, that's the thing. (y)
In a few years all cars will have them as standard, pretty sure.

I am not going to change my mind: Xenon lights are really fantastic.

But clearly he is right if i don't drive at night time much...what use would it be for me to buy xenons if I hardly ever use the car at night time ?
Logical really... yeah they may look cool if you use your lights in the day to show off.. but for me £500 wasn't worth it ..I would rather spend it on something more obvious to the eye..

I drive mainly at night in fact...if you do not drive at night it would be definitely a waste of money, yes. :D

..other cars flashing at you, it is not true...anyway many dealers even do not know what Xenon is or means... (y)

the auto-adjust function does not increase the risk of blindness for the other drivers, it actually reduces it because the lights constantly mantain the same angle with the profile of the road!
to be honest with you when I drive through other drivers with Xenon lights I do not have a specific problem, I only see a different type of light, slightly blue, bright and better defined, smarter but nothing else
personally I have not had any car flashing at me...over the hills all lights can make you blind because the light beam can go straight into your eyes for a second..this is nothing to do with Xenon but it has been happening for years (y)
