I bought a 2002 Stilo 1.2 Active last week and when I got it the stereo wasnt working. I'v spent a while invesigating it and I've managed to figure out that the head unit is fine, it turns on and when i connected the output to a hifi speaker it gave sound. Then i thought that the speakers must be broken so I removed a door panel and checked that but they were fine, when I connected the head unit directly to the speaker with a piece of wire and it worked fine. I noticed that the wires going into the speaker are a different colour to those coming out of the head unit so I presume they go through some kind of junction box along the way and this could be the problem. Can anyone help me out here? Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the stilo's sound system. I have checked the fuses and they all seem fine so I'm really out of ideas here.

I've been through that secret menu thing and everything seems normal except that no sound comes from my speakers

Have you taken apart the multi-connector block betwen the door and the A pillar? On my old 205 the windows used to start playing up if any water got n there at all, may be worth a shot?
