...decided to do some spray painting under the bonnet...

...and though it looks mildly orange (due to iPhone camera), it's a similar red to the OMP strutbrace I'll be fitting soon :)

Got a decent finish with a couple of coats of primer and paint, just don't get me started on those damn Fiat jubilee clips

Haha, yeah went for red as I'm getting almost everything else in red...strutbrace, GSR, etc, it's not subtle, but I like it ;) Was something I wanted to do at some point, but as I say, got bored waiting for suspension, had the paint sitting there and thought what the hell :)

May do the hoses with one of those eBay sets, but think I'll wait till after the induction's on and the airbox is off then see what I can do after.

Hope its high temp paint  you gonna do the hoses too I think PNL did his but in blue :slayer:

I did do the hose covers but I wont bore you with another pic ..unless you want it that is ;).. anyway with regards to the engine cover i shot mine away in the end ..would rather look at an interesting engine than a cover over it..:D its in my garage if some one need one ..(y)

This is the kinda of thing I like to see :D nice job!

I hope to see more of this and less technical problems here on the forum! even though i seem to be contributing to a lot of them lately:D (y)

Cheers, I reckon I may well contribute to the technical problems in this section of the forums in the coming weeks when it comes to fitting some major components to RGZ. Though saying that, I can't wait to get stuck in :D

nice.. have you seen mine yet? ;)

Is it still the same as it was a few months back with the silver and red detailing? Was tempted to do something like that, but I'm too impatient and would've probably mucked it up :p Still though, the airbox'll be going when I get the induction on. May well do something with the leads and piping as well, but at the moment for the money I spent, I'm fairly happy with it :)

Doesn't need to be high temp paint - we're only talking 60-70 degrees perhaps.

That's what I was thinking, though the paint I've used does have a decent heat tolerance rating.
