Hi there,
I have just got my 2004 5 door stilo 1.4 16 back from being pugged in and the faults in place are camshaft and crankshaft sensors. The guy is saying that I should try replacing one of them and then seeing if that works but if not then to replace the other one after. to replace them both at the same time including that parts it will cost me £250. or i can go one at a time. Im not 100% sure but this seems a little exspensive.
My girlfriends dad is a bmw multi tec and he can do the job for a case or £30 in his back pocket, I just need to get my hands on the parts.
So if any one has any advise or knows what the best thing to do is...Then I would be greatful for any feed back.
Thanks chris

Well crankshaft sensor from Fiat dealer is only £30ish so start with that one.

If you paid for a proper diagnostic test (and not just a read of the errors) I'd tell him to do his job properly!

It doesn't take long to scope either sensor, especially as they're easily accessible on the 1.4 16v. ;)

What's the actual running fault? You'll have different symptoms depending on which of the two is playing-up.
